There are over 90 papers written or co-authored by Professor Stephen Emery. This page provides access to those papers which are underlined. They are typically in Adobe Acrobat format. Click on the paper to open or download it. The very latest papers and those "in press" are usually not available here until they have been published or presented, so they are not linked yet (i.e. the first few papers in the list below).
If you are thinking of writing a paper yourself, here are some wise words from Dr O.G. Ingles to use in judging its likely merit
"A paper worthy of publication should present either (1) new data (2) new data interpretation
(3) new hypothesis or theory, or else (4) refutation of previous work".
Writing a paper is something that is not usually remunerated: “All paid jobs absorb and degrade the mind.” Aristotle
And when it comes to presenting it, here is a short article on 'death by Powerpoint' which looks at some presentation woes; click here but before you do that, TURN OFF the default of PowerPoint to automatically adjust the font size of your body text on each slide depending on the amount of text. This can create unreadably small slides and has put most Office 2010/2013 users behind even those very aging Office 95 users when it comes to creating presentations.
